As the pandemic was racing around the world, I was struck by just how much influence a single person has over his fellow man. We cannot live in this world without considering the consequences of our actions on society. Our lives are woven together in this complex patchwork of connections.
This piece shows this connectivity. Those who are at times fully present, some fading and others passed away from us. Our connection to each other is undeniable.
Materials: Organza fabric, canvas and duck cloth.
This quilt was accepted into the SAQA Exhibition Connections. It will hopefully be shown at the Quilt Festival Houston 2021.
