I played around with the carousel book structure and making seedpods. It was fun from the beginning, painting spice (the backside) to painting the inside of the pods with pastels, then making a slipcase for this unusual book size. Working to the #areyoubookenough artist book challenges lead me out of my accustomed work and color ranges. I am usually surprised by the results. The theme here was spice.
