Years ago I took a class with Cherilyn Martin which was my introduction to book arts. Since then I was hooked! In the class I created a binding I liked but wanted to work farther on.

By turning it on its side and making it round it seems like something totally new. I’m really pleased with the result and want to work more with this structure.

I recycled an older art quilt for the middle, the pages are recycled shopping bags, bound with fine bamboo sticks.
